fenton procedure

i have just been told that i may need to have the fenton procedureby a gyno. just wondering if anyone else has had this done? what was it like? did it help? i dont really want to go into surgery if i dont have to and even if i do there is no guarantee that it will work. i dont want stitches in my hoo haa again! :-(

i have been given some oestrogen cream and told to apply it and put pressure through massage on the area for a few months and then if that is no good go for the fentons.

i was booked to have fentons procedure last month but it got cancelled due to issues with my private health (a whole other topic!!) but am booked to see the public gyno in may... i think most people find the oestrogen creams work to soften the scar tissue etc.
hopefully someone will reply whose had the procedure, its not an uncommon one.
