    Breathlessness

    Anyone else having this problem?

    I am 6 weeks and get dizzy head and short of breath just sitting really nit good for work producti vity lol

    MyIron is normal, I have a heart murmur which is not serious

    I was going to say low iron until you said it was fine! It is most likely due to increased progesterone levels. But I guess just make sure that your heart murmur hasn't got more serious as a result of pregnancy.

    Jellybean, I got exactly the same thing early on in both of my pregnancies. I would feel very out of breath and would have to concentrate on my breathing because it felt like there was no oxygen in the air. I asked my Ob about it and he said it's pretty common. His explanation was that the hormone progesterone that you are now making causes you to breathe deeper and sometimes more often. This increases your lung capacity so that you can get more oxygen to your increased blood supply and to your precious little baby
