I was going to suggest B'n'T, DJ's or Myer, but they will definitely be overpriced if you think Target and Big W ones are

Lovable Triumph and Berlei are good and comfy... what size are you? It may depend on where you look too

The Bendon shop at DFO have sales every few weeks where everything is $20. That's where i get all of mine. Favs are Elle Macpherson.

If you have one near you, sign up to their e-mail and you find out when they are having their sale

The boutique places sometimes have a couple of the prettier brands. Or you can buy online. Hotmilk and cake are the only 2 I know. But IMO they're a bit too lacy and not great for support.

It's so frustrating isn't it. As if pregnant and new mum's aren't feeling frumpy and unattractive enough they make us wear beige and white granny bra's.

    i AGREE lol
i didnt care while i was pregnant so much especially with my first but afterwards i wanted to feel pretty and sexy again and with the plain beige, black or white its not easy
but finally BnT have brought out a couple of nicer designs

i do suggest if your still pregnant buy a few plain cheapy ones for when your milk comes in

I got all mine from Harbourtown (factory outlet in SA). My favourite is a pink lacy one, its hotmilk brand, but I only paid $10 for it
Check out factory outlets to see if you can get nice brands like hotmilk cheap

i never really found any that fit. i was 10G or 12F. so was reeeealy difficult. it was such a hard time. i dont think i wore a bra most of the time.(only BF for 3 weeks) or i just wore the breastfeeding singlets from target etc. that have the built in support.

I got some plain looking t-shirt type maternity bras from a privately owned store in rural SA. I love them but at 11 weeks they will be to small soon

I got a couple of pretty black lacey (sp?) ones from Kmart and they were cheap Even the straps are pretty, I think they had white ones too at the time. This was about 9 months ago thought.
