Cat pee on bed matress :(

My kitten has wee'd on my bed (not happy jan!) anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the ugly smell? I immediatly tried to wipe it with warm water and disentificant (spl) and my husband had the "idea" of putting it outside to air out but i was worried about other cats marking their spot. Anyone have any ideas it was a new mattress.

you can get a special cat pee deodorising spray from those pet warehouse type stores that breaks down the smell. we have used it in our bedroom and it worked well.
