    What pets do you have?

I'm a huge animal person, I just can't seem to get enough pets! We're lucky though as we have a couple of acres.

Im curious, what pets do you have and what's the best part about that type of animal?

We have 2 alpacas, 2 sheep, 2 guinea pigs, 3 chickens and 6 ducks.

a dog, a cat and 2 chooks here. Occasionally next door's cats come say hi but it's rare now we have the dog. Before we fixed the fence the other next door's dog came to play randomly much to my cat's disgust. The other day our dog let the chooks out and was following them around the yard trying to play

We have a one-eyed, emotionally unstable, unbelievably friendly and gorgeous border collie/kelpie cross who we picked up from a rescue association. If we didn't travel as much as we do, we'd also have about 15 chooks, 4 goats, a pig and a couple of cats. Oh, and probably a lamb for DS. Oh, you ony wanted the 'in reality' pets? then, its just the one

I have a one-eyed (born that way) 1kg white Chihuahua that I raised from 2 hours old called Pipsqueak. She is my first baby.
We have a male short haired Bordercollie (working dog), now a search & rescue dog
And we have about 50 snakes but they are DH, DD1 does love helping daddy with them though.

I have had a few dogs but everyday I miss my black Kelpie who ran away when I had her looked after while I was moving. Not a day goes by I don't think of her.

We have 3 cats and a dog When DH and I first moved in together, the first thing we did was get a kitten from the pet store, we both love cats and hadn't been able to have one in the previous place we were living (not in a relationship, I was with someone else) as our flatmate (the 'someone else' lol) was allergic. Then a week or two later, we decided she needed a little friend if we both started working full-time so we went back and picked a little boy out of the same litter Then, when DH's mum died and we moved into her house, we inherited her big ginger mog. And thennnn, a couple of months later, we'd been talking about getting a dog and took DD1 to the pet shop to kill some time one morning and there was the most beautiful litter of Jack Russell pups... we went home and 'talked' about it, I was not letting the sun go down without getting one of those puppies lol, so we went back by ourselves and picked a bouncy little girl and took her back to mum's place to surprise DD1 with her 'early Christmas present' There are days when I think it was the worst money we ever spent, but we love her to bits and she's the DDs' best mate (they looooove their 'kittens' and Turbo), I wouldn't take it back

Yes, my house is a bit of a circus most days with the kids and the animals (and they all get along pretty well apart from the occasional spat, and the fact that the dog and the ginger mog despise each other lol - the other two cats get along fine with Pip as long as she doesn't nip), but I love my pets and wouldn't have it any other way!

We have two dogs, a beagle and a c o cker spaniel and two old horses, a thoroughbred and a standardbred. The best bit about all of them is their individual personalities. We used to have cows too, growing up, and their personalities were absolutely wicked!

We have 2 Jack Russells pups. One is 12mths old, the other is 12weeks old. They are a big part of the family, the kids play with them for hours every day, they comes for drives, sleep inside, they are our babies. The best thing is they don't bark, I can't handle dogs barking all day. I am tempered to get another pup, my sister is selling samoyed x Labrador pups, they are so beautiful is just want to bring one home but I don't know if it would be a good idea, having a big dog with 2 little ones. Its so temping but.
