Exposed nerves

Eeew the pain.
I have about half a dozen exposed nerves on my tongue and they huuuuurt. Enough that I'm contemplating pain killers, and I can't eat much.

What can I do about them? Is there anything?

Oh gosh, never heard of that but it sound very painful! Hope someone could help.

Nurofen and panadol together are supposed to be the best combo of painkillers for strong dental pain (which is largely nerve-pain) so that might help.

I didn't do anything, I just get them from time to time, but not normally this many at once.
