Oh yeah, I remember you now First Trimester

And it all comes thundering back to me, like it was yesterday....

    - 24/7 nausea (the hangover that never ends and there wasn't even any wine consumed )
    - extreme exhaustion (nanna naps are compulsory again)
    - teary over minor things (DH suggesting I had too much for a BBQ wasn't really anything to cry about )
    - food aversions and random cravings (last I knew Coke and salt & vinegar chips weren't recommended for breakfast, unless hungover which requires booze, refer back to point 1)
    - constant need for food although constantly feeling sick (snacking at 2.30am to avoid vomiting )

Yes, I remember it all now. I'm so pleased to be growing another little bubba but I would love to hibernate (read: sleep very deeply so no symptoms can be experienced!) until the second trimester if anyone can arrange that?

Oh, I can't relate to what you are going through (I only had tiredness when pg) but I still feel for you. Only 6 weeks to go & hopefully it will all be over (2nd tri)

I hope it passes soon for you. The first trimester was very tough for me too with both my little princes.

Wanna come for a play date soon where the 2 munchkins can play together outside with me while you watch Dr. Phil, eat Samboys & lay on the couch? The constant hangover sucks!!

Oh it feels good to hear a big harmonious groan

Alicia - fingers crossed we get over this stage sooner rather than later! Don't you think it makes the days drag?!

MrsLancer - thanks hon and good luck TTC. Oh, and don't let threads like these turn you off - unlikely?

UntoldAngel - A break from MS then a nasty return? That's just not cricket!

Rhi - oh I'd love a dose of the symptoms you had!! That sounds divine

    DG - thanks hon.

Winter - I think another playdate with chips and coke would be great! You'll be glad to know I've gone off coffee so I'm a relatively easy (but lethargic and couch bound) visitor

Raffy - get yourself a stash hon! It does really help! I'm trying to save them for emergency situations only though. He he he

MM - you've actually said what was tea lug ing through my mind when I posted this thread. Why didn't I just write that? So much more direct! Yes, I hate the first tri too!! Ah, feels good saying it.

Thanks for the understanding girls and for those of you reading who haven't been through it yet, just pretend I'm exaggerating

IT's funny how quickly you forget the first timester though!! I keep telling people that I've been great throughout the pregnancy... until DP reminds me that he had to make me breakfast everyday for X amount of weeks, and then cook dinner every night while I slept.... hmmm nooooo I don't recall that at all....!
Hope the sickness and tiredness doesn't all drag out too long for you

Hopefully hon! I felt really good again at 16 weeks with DD. Had my first dinner with her at 14 weeks From 6-14 weeks I lived on icy poles. At least this time I know food helps no matter how unappealing it seems

Mine was vegemite turkish toast (turkish bread toasted lol) or normal
