My Brother Has Internal Bleeding

I was wondering if anyone had any insight for me on my story if so that would be great. My brother is 22 and has been admitted to hospital with internal bleeding, we are still waiting to find out where its coming from. Hes been vomitting blood for over a week, hes so pale and hes also severly anemic. The only problem is not matter how much i love my brother i think he may have done this to himself. Hes addicted to Panafen plus and he takes boxes and boxes of these tablets. Ive had a brief look on google and it sayd that excessive use can cause internal bleeding. He also never takes them with food. Once my mum found 10 empty boxes under his mattress. Hes been taking these for about a year now. Could Panafen have to do with his bleeding?

Yep, panafen can cause gastric ulcers if used incorrectly. They aren't great for your liver or kidneys either.

hope they find the cause and are able to help him with his addiction as well.

It's so scary how common that sort of addiction is.

Thanx girls yeah hes def not been in a good place for years 2 bad relationships have not helped and this isnt the first addiction he was using sterriods last year which was awful cause he used to fly off the handle at my poor mum. hes also been admitted to hospital before because he tried to hurt himself. Its so hard because hes 22 and refuses to admitt he has problems. I worry for him because he a heamopiliac (his blood dosnt clot) which can be life threatning if he starts bleeding.
