    Major Dilemma!

I have a long-weekend away coming up in less than a month.

I'm having stresses about what to take with me.

We're going out to dinner Friday & Saturday nights, going out afterwards, also doing a few social things on the Sunday night. We've also got things loosely planned for during the days, so will need comfortable shoes for that, which are still fashionable.

Other than taking gym gear with me so I can go for a run, I've got no idea what to pack.

    Weather similar to Melb.

My biggest issues is going to be restricting the number of shoes I'm taking with me!!!!!! I can't do what I did for the girls weekend last year (which was throw all my shoes into a basket & put them in the car) as I'm flying. My number of shoes has also increased since last year (from 10 pairs to nearly 50 pairs).

Do I work out outfits and then pick shoes & handbags to match? Or do I pick out shoes and work out outfits & handbags to match the shoes?

I never, ever, ever thought I'd have such a dilemma.

I would pick 2 or 3 pairs of shoes (excluding runners) and build outfits from there.
You could get away with a pair of flats for day time and heels for night time if you went with neutrals.

Ha ha you sound like me when I go travelling as I normally take most of my shoes and only end up wearing a couple of pairs! I would pick the outfits and then match them with shoes/bags. But don't take too much (ha! I wish I would take my owm advice more often )

    Have fun!

Onyx - this is what I think I'm going to have to do, go with the shoes & do the outfits from the shoes. Will also give me a chance to wear in any heels I've not had a chance to wear yet, might have to drag them out and wear them to work.

Damn being a girl is hard work At least my make-up & perfume is sorted.

Sounds like a have a running partner!

Was worried I was going to be only nutter getting up early for a jog/walk.

As for shoes I'm lucky I don't have to many lol but still narrowing down sucks.

Shoes then outfit build from there.

Yep, shoes and build an outfit around it - unless you have a couple of 'statement' pieces of clothing that speak for themselves, build an outfit around those

FWIW I'm totally having the same issue atm... gah!

More like a stumbling partner I need to get my butt into gear and get back into jogging, might take it easy and do a light jog around the park this arvo, depends on how bad the coughing still is.

The area around the hotel is nice, I was there for a "dirty weekend" a year or so ago and he & I went for a run one morning (ok I got dragged on a run, that is what you get when you date a navy clearance diver who is at their peak fitness).

LOL thats cool cause I dont run full on, I run for 1min walk for 1min... so interval training.

best results come from interval training.
