    Are orchid blooms poisonous to dogs?

    Just as the title says, are they poisonous?

    I've tried to research, but half the things I've read say they are and half say they aren't.

    It's been in my backyard for two years, but I've just noticed that buds are forming for the first time

    The dogs haven't bothered with it just as a plant, but I don't know about when the flowers bloom. It's in a tall pot so I can move it if I have to.
