    Question Centrelink and working question

hi, i was just wondering if anyone knows how much you can earn before it cuts into your ftb payment? do you have to be earning $0 to get the payment? or canyou work a certain amount of hours per week and still get the payment? thanks

Thanks helle. I think that answers my question!
Just trying to work out whether it would be financially viable for me to work one day a week and put 2 kids in cc. It seems not.

There's an estimator on the family assistance website that you can enter your details into and see how much you may be entitled to.

yup, this is probably the best option

the impact your working has on your payment depends on a lot of factors - age of youngest kidlet, how much your other half earns, how much you earn

you can earn about 4500 per annum before your ftbb is impacted BUT that same 4500 may have an impact on your ftba depending on your partners income
