I Googled this earlier & most responses were that you feel like you're going to vomit or you do. Bur my experience of what I think is nausea is different.
I am 4 weeks 2 days and in the last few days my stomach has felt weird, but not like I want to vomit.
It's kind of hard to describe. It's sometimes unsettled, sometimes there's a pain in it and sometimes it feels empty/hungry even right after eating. Right now it just feels like bloating. But never the, "Im about to spew!" kind of feeling. Is this normal?
yeh, you could be one of the lucky ones like me that had no 'vomiting' and so told myself I got no morning sickness. Maybe we just have a 'strong stomach' as the phrase goes?
Also, early days yet, it might hit you like a ton of bricks in 2 weeks :P
Oh boy just woke up with the most painful calf cramp ever!! It was so scary, I am home alone too. When I sit up now I feel dizzy/about to faint or vomit (not sure which but probably faint since I have been known to at the drop of a hat) and I'm busting. Gonna try again...
Sent from my iPod touch - sorry for any mistakes!

Thanks BBB... Guess I'll just have to wait and see! I do have quite a strong stomach. Nothing ever makes me sick unless it's serious! Fainting however is another story...
Nausea is horrible and I dont wish it on anyone ( Very much a "am i going to vomit.. am I not going to vomit" kind of feeling. Left me eating very limited foods.
Being dizzy is normal to an extent. You blood volume is increasing and can make your blood pressure low... which in turn can make u feel all over pretty shonky.
I see you are only just over 4 weeks... usually morning sickness if there is any comes in about week 6.
You sound like me Phebee. I wouldn't say I had morning sickness, but I did on occasion have a feeling in my stomach like it was 'off'. It didn't feel like I wanted to vomit, but just felt like maybe I had eaten too much, or something that didn't agree with me. Strangley eating is what made it feel better.
Thanks for your responses ladies. Sounds like what I'm experiencing is what farmgirl describes. Glad my type of 'nausea' has been felt before (not that I want you to have it - just that now I know it's relatively normal)
Phebee i would give yourself another few weeks first. My Morning Sickness always kicked in smack bang on 6 weeks with DS1 & DS2 but this time it was more like in the 7th week. I have a little bit to do with the Ambo's where i live and one of the paramedics was telling me the other day that he thinks that MS is caused from when the baby does mass production of cells. My MS this time would come in batches where i would be down and out for two days then be fine for two days but stayed around until week 14 where as DS1 & DS2 were starting to go by week 10 - 12.
Or sad to say, you could be like me - having the "off" feeling in the first few weeks and then have MS hit with a bang at around 10-11 weeks and get progressively worse. Every woman is different and fingers crossed you're one of the lucky ones that doesn't get it at all or even only very mildly
Hey Phebee, congratulations again! In all my pregnancies I've had that off my food/I really need to eat something/I feel like I've eaten too much kinda feelings for the first few weeks. And then the oh gosh I'm going to be sick feelings came later! So try not to worry as it is early days
Oh great! Sounds like fun! Not :P
I am feeling crap today but it's not m/s or nausea... It's my stupid nose! I can't stop sneezing and I'm going through tissues like crazy. Sniffles drive me insane but blowing isn't getting rid of them. And I can't take anything for it now! Very very tired too and my calf muscle still hurts but I can't find the heatpack. Thank God it's a long weekend!
