Can't believe I'm in a Baby Buddies thread! Just getting a first post in. Isla is totally gorgeous. We're having a few issues with feeding atm, and I've got a touch of the blues I think, but otherwise...omg I have a perfect, beautiful daughter!

Hey pz. Isla is very cute. Hope she is settling in.

We are still at the hospital. Go home on Tuesday. Hamish is doing fantastically. Breastfeeding is actually going well this time round. Had troubles with Noah so glad it's working this time. I too have had a touch of the blues. Keep crying about stupid things. Doesn't help that Hamish has decided his unsettled time is until 12am and I don't get any sleep from him between about 8 and 12. Really looking forward to getting home.

Hello. My bonnie baby belle, Lilac, was born on June 16. She was induced a little early because I had a dangerous liver thing called obstetric cholestasis, but she was ready to come. We left hospital a night early so I could be with my family who I missed. Like you, I have been a bit emotional at night and felt too lonely at hospital. Boy is it good to sleep in my bed again!

Breast feeding is going well, but I'm currently on mad lookout for early mastitis because it happened last time, but I think we got through rock-boobs without drama.

I'm so hungry all the time, so even though I only gained 7kgs during pregnancy and have just a little hint of a baby belly left, I am eating so much now I'll probably balloon. Oh well, I made the mistake last time of not getting enough sustenance so I'm happy to do what it takes this time for breastfeeding to go smoothly.

Hey ladies, thought I'd finally join the group My EDD was 4/6 so I never expected to be here!

Congrats everyone on your beautiful bubbas

My girl Annabelle Mary was born 16/6 after induction. Was a big baby (4.2kg) but no tears! We were discharged on Sunday, and since then she's gained 340g! She's now 100g above her birth weight, so looks like my little girl won't be little for long! The Community Midwife that visited and did the checks was very impressed lol.

Feeding is going fantastically and we've gotten the hang of settling her at night - up every 3 hours for half an hour last night, I'm happy with that

Hope you're all well, looking forward to getting to know you all!

MOT- love the name Hudson, its really yummy
    PZ- how you goin love?
Tara- How is everything now your home?

Is anybody else enjoying the double nappy changes?
Just when you think they have finished pooping, you've waited afew extra mins, just to be sure, you change their nappy, fix the last velcro fastener and they poop a little more

Lol DT, DD hasn't done that yet, but she did a lovely poop while enjoying some naked tummy time on the scales yesterday! She also loves to wee on the changetable right after the nappy has come off - gets on her clothes and everything!

    Oh Kuriaza!
Im holding off on the MCNs til shes about a month and hopefully into more of a poop cycle- if they ever do that really.

Im so hungry all the time- does this go? I have between 10 and 15kg to lose to get back to normal size and really dont wanna balloon out any more

Sophie is a reflux baby. DH is out hunting for meds for her as we speak. DS1 was the same and still suffers abit. Poor little girl, the milk just streams out her nose and mouth. Better hunt down my front pack for her- looks as though she'll be in that a lot- bugger it summer here. Front pack in a humid 30-38C oh yay!

Wonder whos gonna be the next in here

Lilac: 2980g, 49cm, head was something like 33.4 but I didn't really pay attention to her stats.

I don't know my head from my arse today. I keep dreaming I'm getting up to feed lilac when she stirs, only to wake up in a daze and realise I'm still in bed and lilac's getting a bit impatient.

I feel like I'm hallucinating. But I think I managed to sleep so maybe I'll feel better today.

I have a follow up at the hospital with a lactation consultant/ mid wife. One of my boobs is so engorged, the other is being a bit neglected while I try to clear the other. Damn boobs!

K- ive done that, so tired ive dreamt im doing something only to wake and realise its real, hope your feeling better with sleep

    thanks girls xoxox

milk supply???? with my first 2 my boobs were so engorged for 2 weeks it was beyond a joke i had to express twice a day with tahtah for 2 weeks then once a day
but with hudson i got engorged and had to express 100ml off both boobs but they havent become engorged again, so im worried its already slowing down

we had a fairly good night, we woke up every 3hr for a feed but he feed fast so it wasnt so bad

Yeah, I did that last night K. I was kind of hugging the quilt and I thought it was DD and started trying to settle the quilt lol. We don't even co-sleep though, she's in a cot next to us.

My engorgement isn't all that bad - they do get hard, but she's generally feeding before they get too bad.

Last night though, wow! She fed at 10 & 12, but then slept til 4 - I only woke cos I'd soaked through my breast pads lol. Thankfully she woke and eased it for me DH is really loving these new boobs lol
