Canberra Baby Shops?

I'm looking at purchasing a portacot and a stroller while in Canberra... Good Lord I'm better actually get there this time

Can anyone please lead me in the right direction... reason for a baby shop over target / kmart etc is I'd like to find the products and get them to hold them so I know on Thursday when I get there I can get what I need.

what about toys r us belconnon westfields would suit, depends where you are staying.

Baby r us part of toys are us, near airport in. Or there is a few in fyshwick too.

Baby Bunting in Fyswick is good. They have most things there...

I second Baby Bunting in Fyshwick its in the same area as DFO. I wish it was open when i was pregnant with DD.

I went to Babies Direct (Townsville St, Fyshwick) on Saturday. I found the staff there to be really helpful - DS was in destructor mode and they still didn't try to rush me out of the shop LOL. Baby Bunting (near DFO) is bigger/newer and also quite good, but since shopping at Babies Direct (which I hadn't been to before) I think they would always be my first choice.

I just re-read your post - with Babies Direct you can order over the phone and then pick up the stock when you arrive....
