It is. Increased blood volume can decrease your blood pressure, so your body will be making you drink more. I was worried about it aswell, but there is nothing wrong with me. Later on they might be worried about GD, but I dont even have that and still drinking like a trooper.
I can't remember being so thirsty, but good luck for the peeing-all-the-time stage!!! With drinking all that water, you may as well set up camp in the toilet!!
It's very common and normal I drink so much more during pregnancy than I normally would. At a guess I'm drinking 3 litres of water a day without trying!
thank you so so much everyone one!!! thought i was going mad lol
i still seem to be able to hold my wee.... for now! havent had to get up during the night yet.... lol
I hated getting up in the night. Sooo annoying. Especially cause it was winter and the toilet is up the other end of the house. Its the coldest room in the house too.
I'm the same - never used to drink a lot of water during the day, but now, can't get enough of it. Especially since the water is so cold! Mentioned to dh that he should put an ensuite in for me. His suggestion was a soft drink bottle.....
