Who has dreamt about their unborn baby & had things come true?

A while ago I had a dream about the bun. I have always remembered the details but never really thought too much about it!

This morning I saw this forum & thought, ooh, I might see what your thoughts are on it!

So, before we knew we were having a pink one. I dreamt she was a girl! Not that strange I know, 50/50 chance but in my dream she had thick very dark hair & she came early. She also weighed 8lb 9oz. I have always remembered the number.

Yesterday the OB told us she may be a big boofa & possibly early, not that this means anything as I'm sure she'll do whatever she likes!

Just wondering if anyone else has dreamt of their bub and then things have happened like in the dream....just curious really!

    Thanks!

Before I found out I was pregnant with DS I dreamt about my sister holding a dark haired newborn boy. She was heavily pregnant at the time and I assumed that it was her baby. But she had a girl....turns out it was my DS in the dream. I found out about him not long after.

The dreams I had when pregnant with DS didn't come true... and I'm glad in part.
I dreamt that DS was a girl, and that she was taken off me. The first time I didn't know I had given birth and a cousin was looking after her. It was two weeks later that I found out! The second time, again I didn't know I had given birth, and I ended up stealing her from the nurses and running through the hospital because they told me I was too mentally unstable to have a baby...
But, you never know. And if the details in your dream are that specific it may be a sign

Yes but mine are not happy dreams and the end result has always been a loss.

Yeah I was going to say the dream I had came true, but it wasnt good. I dreamed I was waking up from surgery and saw DH crying telling me our bubba hadnt made it. When I did wake up in recovery in the exact same freaking room as my dream, with DH wearing the exact same shirt as in my dream, I knew what he was going to tell me

I dreamt that DD was a girl, even tho we always called my bump 'Gill' or "him".
I also dreamt about her size. We knew she was going to be premmie due to complications. I dreamt that she was 2lb 10oz.
She was born at 3lb 12oz, but on my last ultrasound, 3 days before she was born, they estimated her weight to be 2lb 10oz.

With Ianto, I dreamt I'd had a little boy who was the spitting image of his dad. In the dream, I was having a really hard time getting him to latch on so I could feed him. I obviously didn't attempt to feed him when he was actually born, but... He was a boy, looked exactly like his dad, and I wasn't able to breastfeed him. Just for the wrong reason.

The only dreams I remember having about Amelia before she was born were of her as a toddler (though I did get the fact she was a girl right!) so I'll have to let you know in a couple of years

ETA: No, wait! I *did* have a really scary dream, around 15ish weeks - the doctors were trying to induce me/kill my baby because I wasn't "able to mother a living child" I'm still scared about that...

I remember reading a birth story on here that she had been dreaming about her baby being born with the cord around it's neck. I think she ended up having a elective c-section for a few reasons and the baby was born with the cord around it's neck! The OBGY said if she had of had a vag birth the cord would gotten too tight and well...you know.
