Hormone replacement treatment and FET costs?

    Hi Ladies
Just a couple of quick questions. Hubby and I froze 4 blastocysts back in 2008. I have no cycle (PCOS..no natural AF since 1997) and have been told the cost for each try will be roughtly $3000. Does anyone know what the medicare rebate is? Also how successful are FETs? Our DS was born after our 2nd round ICSI/IVF after I failed to respond in first round. Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks
    Bee xx

Your clinic will be able to tell you what it will cost out of pocket. They should also give you info on any PHI rebates you may be eligible for.

Hello Bee. I just had a quick look on the Hollywood IVF site (that's where we went - and are going back to later this year for our FET) and the initial payment is $2326 and the out of pocket after medicare rebate is $769 to $1400.
