    Talking First timer saying hi!

    Hi all!

I'm 5 weeks pregnant with number 1 and turning into a neurotic mum already! Definitely need to learn the art of relaxing and going with the flow. Any tips there?!

Looking forward to getting to know you all and super glad I'll have a place to talk about nothing but pregnancy stuff

Hi Ali and welcome to BB! Congratulations on your pg hun!! Yes, I was one of those neurotic mums to be, nothing wrong with that! lol. Hope you enjoy your stay here, we have lots of wonderful, funny and supportive ladies here

All the best with your pg hun and my word of advice? Yes go with the flow, but most importantly enjoy every day being pg (pretty hard if you have m/s, hope you don't have much of it!) and take lots of belly photos along the way. GL hun!

Hi there! Congrats on your pregnancy!

Watching your body change is the most exciting, i had horrible morning sickness from 5 weeks up until 25 weeks but seeing my bump appear was amazing. I loved being pregnant

I found reading threads on here was really helpful in relaxing as if you have an issue you know your not the only one and its completely normal!

Hope to see you around the forums! xox

Wow thanks for the warm welcome!

All going well so far.... I think?! I had some moderate to bad cramping Friday night but no bleeding. After hours Doc said it was nothing to worry about and too early to do a scan anyway. I'm still getting minor crampy feelings that freak me out but no bleeding so I'm trying not to worry too much. Other than that I have sore boobs and a bit of nausea every now and then but nothing really unpleasant.
I can't wait to get to 3 months as I don't really feel like I can celebrate and get properly excited about it yet. Unfortunately patience is definitely not one of my virtues!

Been having a bit of a look around - you all have so much knowledge!! Wow!! I think I've come to the right place

The cramping is normal its called stretching pains. As long as they arent followed by bleeding you will be ok. I had awful cramping at 6 weeks that i went to the ED and had an ultrasound and found everything was perfect And yes waiting to get past 12 weeks is horrible, i remember week 7 i had no symptoms at all wasnt sick boobs werent sore nothing and i got so upset but then week 8 hit and my god i wished i was dead i felt so sick and my boobs were so sore i couldnt touch them without crying.

And yes definitely come to the right place.
