    Bleeding

With DS, I had to night wean and cut day feeds back to 4-5 before af showed (16.5 months). I bled a bit yesterday... only very light. Could it be af-related do you think? Did anyone's cycles return like that? Or should I get it looked at?

I know it's quite normal (well, it's very variable I shoul say) but I kinda expected a long break again

i hadn't even dropped any feeds at all with DD (she had JUST started BLS) when AF returned at 6.5months. given i'd never really had a cycle due to the PCOS, i wasn't expecting it. i have been more regular (six weeks ish) than ever since then.

Everyone is different, every pregnancy different. For me AF has showed at different times with each baby. With DD, I both FF abd BF until she was 7mths, and AF didn't show up until I was about 24wks PP and it was very erratic (hence why I didn't realise I was pg with DS1 until I was about 9wks pg!). With DS1 who was fully BF, it came back at about 16wks PP it was fairly regular, but short. With DS2 who is also fully BF, about 12wks PP (lucky me...not!), as regular as before I had kids, but really heavy, long and quite painful. It's still not like it used to be, though it's getting there.
But if you're worried, talk to your GP about it. You and only you can tell if it's feeling 'normal' or not. If it's not, then see someone.
