Now I know there is no single cure for baby blues and it is such a common and natural occurence to millions of women but.....I'm hoping that you can suggest any tricks/supplements/methods that may help minimise it naturally that worked for you or helped you get through.
I am already super sensitive and a hormonal beast at best of times so planning for it just in case will help alot.x
Exercise – I am running 3-5km 2-3 times per week at the moment. My goal is to be running 10km 4-5 times per week by the end of the year.
Daycare – I could not survive without my older two going to kindergarten 3 days per week.
Eating well – 2 pieces of fruit and 2½ cups of vegetables per day.
If I do all of that I can keep it (PND) at bay and even survive crappy sleep for an extended period.
ETA: One more thing, I get up and have a shower after DH gets out of the shower and before he goes to work. He gets all the kids and me breakfast (bless him) and then we all eat breakfast together. If I don’t do this (i.e. linger in bed and stay in my pjs) the morning turns into a complete wreck. I always do this no matter how much sleep I’ve had. For me this is really, really important.

Have to agree with Epacris diet and exercise were key for me. Obviously not in the first couple of weeks, but even as soon as 2weeks post c-sec I was going for short slow walks around the block. I made sure I had enough nutritious meals cooked that didn't require much effort in the freezer.
A good multi and magnesium supplements also helped the second time.
