    Too tight shoes

Has anyone had any success stretching too-tight shoes? I got some shoes off ebay (second hand and needing slight repair so very cheap) and I completely love them but they are a size too small Normally this size would fit me but it seems these shoes are small made.

So far I have tried stuffing them full of wet newspaper and putting them in the freezer, in the hope that as the paper froze and expanded they would stretch. It worked a little but not enough that I could wear them. So now I have them on with thick socks (owch they really are too tight) and have heated them with a hairdryer to help the leather expand.

Any other tips? Or am I fighting a losing battle? If it helps your sympathy of me they look like this http://i2.squidoocdn.com/resize/squi...istola-rose-si

If you go to some shoe shops they sell shoe stretch. Its a spray that relaxes the fibres in the leather. I use it on all my new shoes as a i have a huge bunyin on my left foot and need to stretch it out.

It would be an absolute shame if you couldnt wear them comfortably!

I'm not really a shoe girl but they are cute
I was just going to suggest asking at a shoe shop and seeing if they have any other tips, i was always told to do the newspaper.

I dont see why they wouldnt have any.. but if they dont hopefully they can direct you to where you can get it. I know payless shoes sell it if there is one near you.

I have my shoes stretch by mister minute or similar.
Has worked better for me than the spray.

Yes, I’m sure a good cobbler will do a professional stretch for you.
