    Omg omg omg!!

Just did a HPT and got a BFP!! I'm not sure how I feel about this at all. I am so very terrified because of my last pregnancy

We have been talking about it for a few months now and we weren't taking any precausions whilst dtd, so I guess you could say we were trying to fall pg

BUT i'm worried because 1: I had an x-ray on my knee last thursday and 2: I had a fall at work yesterday (in the freezer, stood on an ice mound and fell flat on my bum)... do you think baby would be ok???

I must only be about 2 - 3 weeks as I'm only due for AF today and I have been feeling really tired, sore bbs, sick, thats why I did the test. I definately wasn't expecting it to be positive.

Can I ask the dr to do regular blood tests for HCG levels until the 13 week mark?? I really think this would put my mind at ease especially after my last pg when I thought everything was fine and then I lost the baby

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Congrats on your

Go to your doc and discuss your concerns based on your last PG, I'm sure they'll make extra exceptions for you and give you the option of more scans or BTs or something.

    Big Congratulations.

I understand your concerns, my first pregnancy was a missed miscarriage at 13 weeks, and when I fell pregnant next I was paranoid, I think a pee'd on about 50 sticks.

I unfortunaelty didn't have additional blood tests but did have a scan at 8 weeks. I would think with your history that they should accomodate you just to ease your stress levels.

Good Luck sending lots of sticky vibes your way

Why don't you see if you can get in for an early scan, maybe around 7 weeks? And yes I would ask for some consecutive blood tests to check if hcg is doubling nicely. But that's just what I would do because I can't bare to wait after past experiences.
Congratulations on the news and wishing you a happy & healthy 9 months ahead

Re: the x-ray i had similar happen, i had an x-ray to see if they coudl find a stent that had been put in during an OP a couple of months earlier, the 1 question they ask is could you be PG and of course i was like NO.
Then a couple of weeks later i found out i WAS... Dr said all should be fine.
Am hoping your well, bubs is well and you have a H&H PG.

ok so i'm back from the dr's, she said there is no point in doing regular bloods for HCG, and that it may not even be beneficial to my own piece of mind. BUT she did say we will have a scan at around 8 weeks to make sure everything is still going well.. Because my 2 m/c the baby died at 6 weeks both times, but I didn't find out until I was 8 wks with the first one and 10wks with the second one.. so fingers crossed, if everything is still going well at 8 wks and baby is still alive, then hopefully that means I will have a baby..

Thanks again for your replies, its great to have some support through this. xoxo

    Thumbs up OMG OMG Congratulations!

Wow congratulations. That is brilliant news.
I too had the most wonderful news this month. I have been trying to concieve #2 for 2 years and have tried a lot of different things, in April I had my laparoscopy, d & C, dye, and hysterscopy. This is my second round of clomid and I am happy to say that I got my first BFP in 24 months of trying. I couldn't believe it so I did a test for the last 6 days straight and today I cried tears of happiness. Who would have thought this could happen to us. Me and my dear partner have been together for 11 years and have a little boys named Josh who is 7.

Please keep your fingers crossed for us, we need all the luck we can get, sending love and babydust to you all xxx.
