Casual Wedding Gift Ideas

We've been invited to a wedding celebration BBQ (the actual wedding is happening alone at the registry office) but we can't make it. I want to get the bride and groom and small gift but I can't think what??

It's VERY low key and i know they don't really want/expect gifts from everyone... what should I get?

In these cases, I always get photo frames. The type and quality depends on the couple, but you can never have too many photo frames.

Or a voucher for something.

We have found splaids to be a great present. Not to expensive but very useful

I have given splades before- love 'em! This couple are on a mega-diet at the moment though so I'm thinking dessert cutlery not okay

I browsed some photo frames... good idea,but I'm so fussy myself and I find "decorator" items too personal-taste so I couldn't decide.

I have to shop online so a plant is out.

I ended up going with my own idea I bought a Lonely Planet photo book and I found some Mr & Mrs stubby holders which I thought would be fun for the BBQ celebrations
