It sounds beautiful to me. We were thinking about a little Chloe May for a while![]()
I swear this choosing a baby name thing is driving me batty
It would be SO much easier if the baby was a boy I could have 4 boys as I have four names that DH and I both love
DH and I cannot seem to find any names we can agree on EXCEPT we have chosen a middle name which will be the Japanese spelling Mai (May)
Some recycled names we had chosen whilst pregnant with Nikita were - Chloe and Indiana and today DH came up with AtlantaI mean, he doesn't like my "unusual names but plucked out Atlanta?
I still love Amara but he hates it with a passion and when I suggested an alternative being Amaira (A - Mare - Ra) he looked like he was going to puke
So the only one that I kinda like is Chloe, its just a bit, I dunno, I cannot put my finger on it, but Chloe Mai doesn't sound too bad does it?
gah its soooooo hard

I had the same problem with Chloe! lol Just... meh.
But WTF is he thinking with Atlanta? rofl
DH and I didn't pick Marley's name until she was about 5 days old, so don't stress, it will come to you. We had a middle name sorted, but her first name just didn't come to us until well after she was born, and even then, it was one we had summarily dismissed months and months earlier.
Well that was absolutely no help! ;p
Sakeena Mai
Arienne Mai?
Just don't call her Mai Atlanta .... Unless you want her to be effective at soothing heartburn and indigestion
I like Chloe btw.....
Must admit I love Indiana (but I am biased as it is DD3's name)
Chloe is pretty and sounds nice with Mai...but it is a bit more common if you where after something a little unique.
i like indiana and chloe.
fwiw i don't think chloe is meh at all. its really pretty.
I can see where you are coming from with Chloe must say I'm a bit the same.
What about Zoe Mai or Zali Mai.
I wish I was in your shoes, I have ooodles of girls names but am having boy No 4, DH and I have absolutely nothing we only every had 2 boys names we loved and they got used straight up.
I love indiana very much
Ooh I like Zali Mai ...that is nice.
I was meh about the name Chloe too. DH chose it for our DD who was nameless for quite a while after she was born and it stuck. I must say, I love it now lol.
I like all of your suggestions. Amara is a gorgeous name, it's a pity your DH hates it so much.
Ara Mai
I like the name Chloe, it's pretty.
I like Chloe too! My niece is Chloe, so classic and pretty. Atlanta is different... But if you think that's strange my husband came up with the name Vanilla!!!! Lol I told him we were having a baby not a flavour of ice cream![]()
I like Chloe.
Not sure about Atlanta. I like Indiana too.
Savannah?
i love the name chloe but i guess im a bit biased as thats dd's name
we always had savannah and kira
What about Tara? Or Lara?
Other ideas... Tali, Talia, Tayisa, Larissa, Taya, Amalie, Amelie, Amelia, Tess, Zoe, Zaya, Cintia, Zadie....
Try not to stress out about it, you have just under 20 wks to decide on a name. If you have to, wait till she is born and then im sure her name will come to you.
I love Atlanta and Chloe. I know you have chosen a middle name but Chloe Atlanta sounds nice![]()
What about just Indi? Indi Mai?
I think Chloe goes nicely with Nikita and Shae.
Amali Mai
Lyla Mai
Tierra Mai
