    Decorating nursery in a rental?

I know you can get removable wall stickers and borders etc, I have stalked some online, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Either online, or can you get them from spotlight or other shops? I am looking for a stars and moon theme OR clouds and sun.. Something relating to the sky because that's where Button's brothers are and I want them looking down on Bub as s/he sleeps (although I doubt s/he'll be in a separate room for a while anyway lol). I am so excited to start decorating a nursery. (well DF will have to under my instruction )

I have just got some from a place called The Wall Sticker Company. They claim you can use them over and over again, so would be perfect for rentals. They're not as cheap as ones I've seen on ebay though. I haven't put ours up yet so will let you know how they go when I do

we are in a rental at the moment. I got fabric removal wall stickers from a place online called moo said the cow. They are lovley. I'm also going to put up curtains becuase we have those silly blinds that don't block any light or heat or anything, blegh

We have large window sils so I put small teddies on them and hung a decorative quilt on the wall.

I saw some really good ones in the nappy hunt in March - I'm sure I'll find them again in September! They had a beautiful one I wanted to put over DD's cot, it had stars and the verse "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, do you know how loved you are". Only problem it was a little exxy.

a little OT but how well do we think they would stick to / look on brick?
both the kids' bedrooms are all brick... i imagine they would still go on ok just not look as 'fluid' or smooth as on a normal wall?
    has anyone tried that?

Don't buy the $10 ones from Kmart!! I did, and after only a week my DS 'removed' the lower ones from the wall. It pulled all the paint off I will be spending more money next time as now I have to patch and re-paint and the stickers aren't reusable as the paint is stuck to them.

most wont stick to a brick wall, we tried to put some up when DS was born, its usually to rough to stick to it.

How about some bunting/garland/fairy lights strung around with 3M removable hooks?
    Pictures/wal hangings with the same
    rugs make a difference

Thought I would just post a warning about the wall stickers - we have had various ones of various prices and they have ALL removed paint from the walls - same happened with my SIL. So I would not recommend them at all, especially if you are in a rental. Sorry to be a downer.

Rugs, wall hangings, mobile and other decorations can make the world of difference tho - even a new light shade/covering.

We also did curtains and matching nappy holder, etc for DD's nursery. This time around, poor baby is just in with us and will get no decorating done on her behalf! DD is convinced she wants her baby sister to come into her room when she's old enough. If she changes her mind, I will decorate the spare room for DD2.

I might put up something cute behind the change table and drawers for this bub, so she isn't too left out. And I'm sure she'll get some new bedding!

Jim's just sharing my pink bedroom, so some people thought I was having a girl lol.

I got some cute pictures from the Salvos which are from Ikea originally, so they look a bit arty as well as being for a baby iykwim. I also framed his commemorative birth certificate so that makes a good decoration too.
