Babylove Ezicombo - How do I change the straps?

Hi - we have one of these carseats and they are great. DD loves it and it is so comfortable looking. We actually bought 2 of them, 1 for each car. We had them professionally installed and in one car, the straps are in one spot and in the other car, they are on the smaller/shorter mode. This means in the smaller/shorter mode car, we need to lie her down a bit to get her into the seat comfortably and it's really awkward for us and she doesn't like it either. So we want to change the straps. But we don't seem to have an instruction manual and have no idea how to do it. Do we need to uninstall the carseat just to change the straps?

Generally, in most car seats, to adjust the straps you need to unhook them from underneath, take the straps out and put them in the next row of holes. This means that yes, you will have to take the carseat out to do it so you can get to the straps.

I dont know what your carseat is like but this is what all my carseats have been like so far. I suggest googling your carseat instructions or looking it up on a certain "tube".
