Shall I swap my Piccolo for an ergo?

I've been thinking about this for a while, and since using a friend use her ergo, I really like the look of things. But is it worth it? Is the ergo better than the piccolo?? I don't have the waist belt for the piccolo yet, and I'm finding DS (probably about 11-12kgs) is getting a bit long for it, and a supermarket shop is the longest I can wear him for. Plus I want to take the sling travelling next year when he will be almost 2.

So, shall I sell my piccolo and get an ergo?
