My rings still don't fit...shoes mentioned too!

I recall seeing a thread about this ages ago, but have no idea how to find it. I'm 9 months post delivery (non-traumatic c-section) and am finally back to my pre-pregnancy weight...almost back to my pre-IVF weight...but my rings (engagement and wedding), which fit until I was about 4-5 months pregnant are still uncomfortably tight. And they used to be loose in cooler weather like we've been having for months now.

I'm wondering if this is a permanent change or could it be because I'm still mainly breastfeeding - does this mean there's more fluid in my body? I really don't want to get them re-sized because it wouldn't be a simple job given the setting. Is there hope that they will fit in the future?

I've noticed that my shoes are a bit tighter, but I expected this and they are still comfortable enough to wear...at least i don't have to re-do my shoe wardrobe!

Wow 9 months and back your pre wieght well done! I am too lazy to do anything till my babies are one lol!

My rings never fir me again after DS1 was born I had to get them resized, as for shoes they do say your feet can go up a size mine did a little bit...but I have huuge feet anyway lol

I would wait maybe till bubs is one then re asses the ring situation and then get them resized if you have too

Congrats on being your pre pg weight!!

I still don't fit my rings either, but I am definately not my pre pg weight! I am also a whole shoe size bigger than when before I had kids though. I don't expect that will change. I have read that it is pretty normal that your ligaments and muscles stretch permanently in places like your feet and even your ribs.

been doing weight watchers breastfeeding plan since April - wouldn't have lost it without them! I hate "dieting" but at least I know WW works.

gee - I'll wait a bit before I reassess my ring situation - I just wasn't aware this could happen...not that there was anything I could have done about it
