Period after miscarriage

When should i expect my first AF? and will it be really heavy? what should i expect?

MIL told DP that i should get it right away but there is no sign, however having an irregular cycle is not uncommon with me but they were regular after i had DD and i got my first AF 6 weeks after her.

I'm in the middle of my few AF. I lost my little one at the same time as you, even though I was only 4 weeks.
It's been a bit heavier and it's hurt like a b!tch. Massive cramps and I felt really crappy for the first few days.

About 8 weeks after the first day of m/c bleeding (bled for 2 weeks) Relatively normal AF, but still bright red. Light/med and lasted 5 days. Cramps only on first day.

Maybe having retained placenta and the infection has just messed with my body. I am almost 5 weeks post m/c.
