Bamboo Breast pads

Hello all

Im 30 weeks and am already leaking like crazy...actually have been for a while now.

Buying boxes of pads is costing a bit and I guess it wont slow down after bubs either (plan to breastfeed).

I was looking on ebay at bamboo breast pads.

Does anyone have experience using these? How do you wash them (Ive seen it suggested in a bra bag) but can I use normal detergent? Obviously you change them daily/as often as you feed but do I need to do washing daily or are they ok to be washed with the normal washing (every 2-3 days).

Any info would be appreciated

i wash in themin the shower with me!
theyre great and all i use. u can chuck them in with the normal wash but use only 1/4 of the washing powder u normally use because it can clog up the fibres, makes them less absorbant.
and i wash them in a bra bag, we have a front loader and they get caught in the door

I've only ever used washable. In the wash with everything else (a bra bag is handy so they don't go missing lol). I only use half the recommended washing powder anyway for my nappies. We can't use the eco ones in the very hard water we have so it's normal for me.
Dry in the sun.
Much nicer on your boobs too
