HCG level of 30 at 15DPO- Should I still be hopeful?

My title says it all really. I had a beta done yesterday at 15DPO and my doc rang me tonight. He said that it was positive but really low (he emphasized REALLY). He said it was 30 and I needed to come back in to repeat it. So I will be going in tomorrow but I just don't know what to think. I was starting to get really hopeful about this pregnancy and now I am completely thrown. I think it was his tone more than anything- I could tell that he thought it was a fizzer.

Can you please share your stories- both good and bad about getting a beta so low at 15DPO? Did the bubba stick? Did you miscarry? Please don't just give me false hope, I want to hear both sides to really work out my chances.

    Thanks

Hi hun its not really about how low your beta is as Bub could have implanted in later than you thought. But more so the doc will want to make sure the hcg is doubling as a normal pregnancy should.

    Try not to stress

Eta it usually doubles every 48 hours

Sooo sorry you are going through this. Are you 100% on your dates? My experience with low beta's is not good. It seems that some people are successful with low beta's, but the majority of people sadly do not go on. I hope you are one of those with low beta's who go on fine .

Hope everything works out for you.

15DPO is still early days so it is still very much possible that things will work out well for this pregnancy. The most important thing is that the HCG doubles in 48 hours.

Thinking of you with my fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

If this is the end, what can I expect now? Will I just get something like af?

glenny hun, stop talking yourself out of it!

My HCG with this one at 5weeks was only 57. If it was doubling every 48hours then it was much lower than yours at 15DPO. I can assure you we're all good. My least troublesome pregnancy yet.
My last couple of losses were higher earlier so numbers are no guarantee of anything.

Feeling better. Thanks girls. Kim- you're right I'm trying to stay positive!

did another FRER this morning and it's MUCH darker than yesterdays. This is killing me! But I still feel pregnant. I've decided to go back to something my belly buddies said last time- PUPO- Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise!
