Does anyone here suffer severe PMS? How do you cope with it or treat it?

not personally, but a friend tried out 3 or 4 different Pills before she found one that didn't turn her into a melting pot of emotional disaster on a monthly basis.
but she didn't want babies - not sure if you're on the pill?
She swears by it. I talk it all cycle long, but I find that when I come off it and then on it again, it picks up rather quickly.
Look at natural therapies to balance the hormones in your body.![]()
Tinks I got good results from using evening primrose oil, b vitamins and the biggest thing that helped me was getting onto a low low GI diet. That helped with everything from moods to fluid retention. Also realize that you may need extra rest, some extra calories, and more space for yourself during those days, and take what lifestyle measures you need to help with this.
oh no ... do yours involve plates? bag packing? plum flinging? I used to get a call as often as not on (T - 3) asking if she could move in - and over the most unusual things ... partner bought two onions when he should have known she would have wanted three ... partner put the cushions on the left hand side of the couch, and that's where she had wanted to sit ... or in absolute tears, over something she remembered her Grade 3 teacher doing, which was really mean/sweet/whatever ...
poor thing!
YES!
oh no!!
get thee to a cure, Tinks my girl then ...
EPR, accupuncture, herby things ... find something!
not pretty.

Tinks - is it possible your hormones are getting worse relating to your age - i'm not sure exactly how old you are, but my mum went through early pre-menopausal symptoms that sound a lot like what you're going through. she was put on an OTC drug from the chemist and it seemed to calm her down heaps. can't recall what it's called now though - but maybe it's worth talking to your GP to see if you're heading towards early menopause, and if so, what they recommend.
id also suggest something natural..there is a great naturopath in croydon
Vitex is a hormone balancer.... Nicole Tracy recommended something for me to help sort out my cycles, its in a health food store but the box is at home. Purple and white... grrr forget the name but will reply when I find it.

Hey Tinks...pretty sure you are too young for menopause unless you are heading towards early menopause?
If you are not into trying the Naturopath path..may help though, I have an IUD Mirena. Virtually no AF at all every month.
It could be worth talking to a Gynae rather than GP and see what they may recommend.
