MYOB help - new tax tables

I'm doing the payslips for work, and have noticed that more tax is being taken out - did the tax go up, or have I stuffed something up somewhere?

Do you have a tax chart from the ATO at all? Tax went down for everyone in my workplace maybe 3 or 4 months ago?

Go to settings - (im not at work so im guessing) there is a tab where you can load the current tax tables .

To double check - go to the ATO website - you can calulate the tax there, based on gross wage, weekly, hecs debt etc etc

That's confused me even more Bengal - I'm getting more than what it's coming up at.

The only thing I can think of is the new flood levy,...

The tax rates have not changed. What has changed is the implementation of the flood levy (increasing tax withheld) and the giving a greater portion of the low income tax offset each pay, rather than at tax time (lowering tax withheld). So for those who are entitled to the offset will be getting more money now, but a smaller tax return.

I don't understand why it's less then. The only difference is I just installed the new compliance update - the base is the same, the salary sacrifice is the same, but the tax is different
