Kind of odd thing happened this morning

So I was driving along a busy road this morning and pulled up just as the light was going red, first in line. Normally I take off the second the light goes green and I'll admit, tend to put my foot down hard on take-off (cause it's fun). Today though, for some reason, I hesitated. In that split second hesitation, just as I'd started moving forward, a motorbike came flying across the intersection through the red light in the other direction. If I had've taken off at my usual speed and not had that slight hesitation before taking off, it would've slammed into the driver's side of my car at the speed he was going would've been a horrible accident.

But I still can't explain what caused that slight hesitation. Kind of freaked me out a bit to be honest...

Our guides do pop in when we need them the most, this time yours stopped what could have been a bad consequence for more than you and just the person on the motorbike.

    Glad you're ok

I believe God gives us angels to guard over us. I've had something similar - was following a car on the highway and suddenly felt to pull off to a fuel station.15 minutes later and back on the highway, the car I was following had crashed into someone else.

I have had this happen too. It is unnerving as there is definitely more at play than simply not taking that step or stepping on the pedal to get going ITMS. I am reading a classic book ATM ("all quiet on the western front") and the character talks about this a bit in the book about when the shelling (it's set in the first world war) is taking place and how after a little while, without reasonable explanation the soldiers are able to "sense" happenings in the world around them before they happen (and thus are able to take shelter earlier than if they had of just used their conscious mind ITMS). i found this point really interesting as i do think it is about tapping into that subconscious and learning to 'listen' to the wider world connections...

For me, i had a moment a few months ago (that i wrote about i think) where i had this split second vision of a car running the red light (i was about to cross with DD2 in the pram). so i hesitated and the woman beside me also hesitated after she saw me pull up quickly and sure enough the car i "saw" came flying through the light and would of taken us all out. the woman looked at me and said something along the lines of 'lucky you stopped us'. i was unable to really respond as it was weird in that i was still in some kind of 'zone' or something. very spooky.

i have had this happen as well - when i'd had my license all of six weeks. i was in a situation that i learned SHOULD have had me roll the car if i'd try to steer out of it - but something stopped me. three other cars had rolled in similar circumstances in the same place in the 6 months before me. i have no idea what it was but i started to try and steer and something just told me to stop.

it was freaky in the moment, but i'm forever grateful. my dad discounted it as "you're just young and inexperienced" - pfffft - SOMETHING stopped me from doing it! closed minded old bugger!

glad it was all working together for you yesterday hun
