I was at a wedding over the weekend and a friends sister just had her third baby (a girl) and named her Pippen! I instantly fell in love with it!

I love Pippa or Pip as abbreviations for Phillipa but Pippen doesn't do it for me.
It sounds like something you would use for fish bait.

I like it I like Piper more though. Pippen also brings a sports person to mind Scotty Pippen maybe? Not exactly sure a basketballer I think. But that's not a bad thing, specially if you like basketball

I think it sounds like a boys name. I think of Merry Pippin the hobbit.

But it's a cool name and I would certainly admire it if I came across anyone named that
