Has anyone had these in third tri? I had them a quite few times during the day in 2nd times, and it seems they have suddenly come back. At least that is what I think they are.
I don't have headaches or aches and pains in the rest of my body so I'm thinking it can't be anything nasty, but the other night I was sleepy around 9pm fell asleep in my dressing gown and woke up all sweating After a drink of water and sitting in a singlet it settled down again. It isn't hot here atm, so it is a bit weird.
However the last few days I've been getting really red face, for no reason it seems. It isn't hot to touch paticularly and it seems to come and go. Hubby checked my temp a few times with his hand, and said he can't feel that I'm overly hot so at least I shouldnt be running a fever? I've never really had a high fever as an adult but I'm assuming if it was high I would feel really rubbish. Bubs is still moving around the place like normal, I can't notice any slow down, I'm just not sure if this is another one of those, body going haywire moments due to pregnancy or if I should be concerned.
Thanks for the imput guys,
L

Sounds very familar to me. Especially the red face. As long as you're not running a fever I'd say not to worry.
Sounds like a normal body cooking another body thing to me.
Make sure you're keeping up the water and enjoy the last couple of weeks before your life changes forever!! (For the better!!)
Thanks guys I feel a little better. Was starting to get a bit worried. If it starts up again today I've managed to find the baby's themometer that someone gave me, so at least I'll be able to see if I'm running a temp, if I'm not I'll just put it down to hormones.
The fun just keeps coming doesn't it - but generally if you're feeling fine and not noticing any swelling in hands/feet/face etc to go with the hot flushes I'd put it down to just crazy hormonal stuff. I've been feeling roasting hot a lot of the time, especially at night after I've been asleep for a while. Which then of course wakes me up and makes it hard to sleep again.
It just does! I might be worring needlessly.. I do have a habit of that LOL also being so close to the end an all that stuff.
Happened twice today, and both times I was 36.7C so no temps here.. just red faces and hot cheeks Yeah no swelling or any other nasty type symptoms. I have had swelling in my joints causing my hands to ache and wake me up, thats a good one eh? Must be all the extra fluid.
