Estrogen and Progesterone levels dropped during 2WW?

Hello Ladies

I require any information about levels during the 2WW. Or if possible could you share your stats?

At the start the nurses were not giving me any information. The only reason I know now is because I was researching online and came across people speaking about their levels as a way of monitoring other than the misleading pregnacy test results. So I decided to ask nurses about it. Previous to that they just said everything was fine and continue to do what I do. I am a day 3 fresh transfer. All my ladies parts are in order, reason for IVF was my husband having the snip 13 years ago. I had my bloods done this morning and my levels have dropped my estrogen dropped to 7500 from 9660 and progesterone dropped from 755 to 258. It would be safe to say that I have negative thoughts now :S. Ive had my cry for today at the thought of being negative now, as I have done enough research to know that your levels are meant to rise rather than fall. At first I was freaking, I thought my levels were high compared to other women, I thought there was something wrong. Have tried to find out information about different levels to find hardly anything. Had seen other women posting progesterone of 100 or less, I thought NO WAY it was the same measurement as mine, as im flying off the charts . I am on two pessaries currently and tonight the nurse told me to increase pregnal from 750 untis to 1500 units. My final BT is on friday. Hoping it goes well, either way I will cope no matter what the outcome. I walked into my marriage knowing that there was a difficulty and the possibility of never having a child. We just thought we would try so we dont sit there togther at 80 years old wondering if it would have worked.

Hi Shastar I am sorry I can't help you with pre BT levels as I never had mine checked on any of my many cycles, however when I got a BFP for my girls my progesterone level was 59, which is still fine, so I would say your levels are fantastic. I believe they can fluctuate day to day and as long as they don't drop below 40 you should be fine. Good luck for this cycle and hope all your worried are unfounded. Xx

I didn't do IVF/ICSI but have taken all the hormones so hopefully this is relevant. I did have my levels measured in the TWW but TBH I didn't ask what they were. My pregnyl injections were 5000 at ovulation, and then 5 x 1500 pregnyls throughout the two weeks. The day I got my BFP my hcg was 145 and my progesterone was 63. I didn't have progesterone pessaries though so that might account for why your progesterone levels are seemingly high? Its really hard to maintain any hope when you know that your levels are being so swayed by all the bloody drugs you're taking.
