Implantation Bleed or start of an early period???

    Hi all,

its been a while since I have been on here... since my last miscarriage I have been laying low...

Bit of history: 3 miscarriages this year, two resulted in D&C having to be done. Last one was at 12 weeks and have a cycle since but think I might be pregnant but not sure???

DH and I haven't been trying and are waiting on a number of tests to be done like thyroid (suspected sluggish thyroid) and chromosome but this month I guess we haven't been "careful" either...being so in tune this year to my body I know the signs now but without paying too much attention I would have thought I ovulated around 17th of October and have had very sore boobs, swollen and tired since Monday!??? have had a lot of CM (sorry for TMI) too...BUT today I had a bit of spotting, first brown mucus and then a bit of pink, not much at all... since the last toilet visit, just a bit of brown, but only when I wipe... not on my liner...???? But I have had lower back and pelvis pain (slight cramping too) yesterday and today?
SO.... I am not due for my next cycle till Monday 31st so unsure if this is my period coming early or implantation? I have never had implantation bleeding with my previous 3 pregnancies so unsure???

    HELP!!!?????

It COULD be an implant bleed, I thought they occured a little later (between 4and 6 weeks) but you never know. I am really hoping it is an implant bleed and not just some pre-period spotting for you.

Keeping everything crossed. Good luck hun

Just had a red bleed... this time onto my liner so thinking must be the start of my cycle just really early? I am just confused because my boobs are never swollen or sore just before or during my period? but it cant' be implantation bleeding because from what I have read its not that much blood? and usually brown? am I right?

The implant bleed I had with DD was reddy brown but not bright red. A friend who is currently pregnant had bright red so really I am not sure.

Perhaps becuase your body has been through so much your hormones are out of whack a bit and therefore the breast swelling and tenderness is a result?

If it is AF - its not uncommon for cycles to be different after pregnancy too and 4 days early is not too early if that makes sense??

    hope this helps a bit.

I usually get implantation bleeds between 10 and 16dpo, usually and only since my 3rd loss. With my DS I wasn't exactly sure when AF was due and I think I was about 21dpo when I got my first positive test and had bright red mucousy spotting the next day.
With my DD the same thing happened, found out smack bang on the evening of 14dpo, bright red mucousy spotting came the next morning.
With all of my losses though my cycles were messed up for a while afterwards, with my last 3 losses the first AF afterwards turned up early each time and was different to normal.

*hugs* I hope you can get your rainbow baby soon hun!

Thanks to all that have replied... I am pretty sure its an early cycle for me... no cramping but blood so I guess its next month for us to try again. Rather this disappointment then another loss anyway...

I had an implantation bleed that was red bleeding. It was too light to be a normal period but was heavy enough to be a pain IYKWIM?
It was about 10 days early and went on for two weeks. I thought it was just an early funny light but long period and it wasnt until I started getting other symptoms about two weeks later that I decided to test to rule it out.
You can imagine my shock when that test came up positive

I am really sorry you have had a terrible time of late and I really hope that you get your sticky bubba soon

Thanks Feijoa Mum... I hope I do...

it not like my usual period, but it seems too heavy for an implantation bleed... but I guess you never know... if I dont get my next cycle then maybe I am?
