    Hello ladies,

I am posting this thread to know 'How you apply your make-up?'. I am a sometimes person, if asked how often I apply make-up and might I add I need help with the whole process. I am currently using MAC. I apply lotion, MAC Powder, eyeliner and eyeshadow. What do you do and which product are you using?

I am using australis stuff at the moment only because it was cheap. I do wear makeup everyday, even have watched quite a few makeup tutorials on youtube
I use a primer then apply concealer around my nose and chin, thats where i have redness then a liquid.
I usually use bronzer and at the moment am favouring light gold eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara.
Reminds me I need a new mascara mine is terrible.

I use various make up from MAC, Revlon, Max Factor, Clinique etc... depends on what I need, what the cost is and what is feels like on.

I use a concealer on any spots and under my eyes then I apply foundation and blend to the outer edges of my face with a sponge. I put on mascara, blush on the apples of my cheeks & sometimes a bronzer all over my face and usually a lip liner and lip stick or gloss. If it is night time I add eyeshadow and pencil in my brows (I have a scar). I am not great at applying eyeshadow & like the op, use online tuts for help.

    For a FULL Face:

I give my face a good scrub and cleansing first then use a teeny tiny bit of moisturiser.

I use a concealer around my eyes and nose then apply my liquid foundation with a sponge. Once I feel it is dry I may do a second coat of foundation depending on how the coverage worked first time round. Then I do a light dusting of "Camera Finish".

I then do a light spritz of water and wait for that to settle. This seems to take the "powdered look" off my fade.

Then black liner under my top lashes prior to curling them. I retouch with concealer around my eyes if necessary. I apply a based shade of eye shadow, then highlighter colour, main colour and a darker colour from the outer corner of the top eyelid and along the crease then I blend with a finger.

I choose a coloured eyeliner for the bottom eyelash line and usually black along the top. Then I do several coats of mascara.

    THEN

I pick out my blush and do cheeks and temples and use a deeper colour for the contours.

Lip liner and lipstick with a dab of gloss in the centre of bottom lip.

I spritz again lightly with water and once thats dry I also do a light spray of hairspray over my face (sounds weird) it seems to help everything stay on and fresh looking longer.

    Nae x x

P.S I do not do a full face all that often its too much effort

I put cream on my face, then primer, then foundation, concealer, powder, blush/bronzer (if using), eyeliner (if using), eyeshadow (if using) and finish off with mascara.

    ATM I'm using Revlon mostly.

Bless you beautiful ladies for taking the time out to contribute to this thread.

    RhiChiChi,
Which product gives you a flawless look? Just wondering if you break out from using MAC? Because I do which is why I use it sometimes.

    Just Me,
How often do you exfoliate and which exfoliater do you use? Do you always exfoliate before applying make-up?

To the rest, thanks again for replying.

Questions to everyone: Where did you learn to apply make-up?

Where did you learn to apply make-up?
My mum taught me when I was 13 how to do mascara and eyeshadow but I started doing competition ballroom dancing and had to learn how to do really strong dramatic make up for that. My dance teachers helped show me how to do it.
