    Eeeek...

Have just submitted an application to become an SSO (School Support Officer), to begin employment (if anyone will have me lol) in 2012.

Have put administration, clerical, and library services as possible employment opportunities. Currently doing volunteer work at a local school library and the librarian has already said if it was up to her she'd employ me in a heart beat. Have also listed 7 different schools in my local area. I don't want to venture to far out of the community as I want to be close to my own kids school in case of emergencies etc. So I may not get anything, but at least I am trying and now it is nerve wrecking. Have heard it can take a while to obtain an SSO number though.

Definitely don't expect employment straight away. But I am going to approach the school I am currently at if/when I get an SSO number and say I am interested. Well they already know that LOL.

Fingers crossed that you get something quickly! They'd be crazy not to give you a job!

Yeah Liz. I have really enjoyed it, and put it as my first preference. I have done stocktaking and cataloguing, and processing new books etc etc at the library where I am currently volunteering at. Even managed to answer a couple of kids questions today
