Question Anyone get AF and still get a BFP?

Just looking for some good news stories - want to keep some hope alive that this cycle hasn't been a waste.

So - looking for BFP stories when AF has arrived
    - how many days before blood test did it arrive?
    - heavy/light (sorry if TMI!) cramps etc??

I know i'm pulling at straws here, and I think I've accepted that it's a no go for me - I know it hasn't been a total waste of time, as every cycle teaches you something new about your body - I just want some stories to give me hope - cause it's so easy to find the BFN stories.

    thanks girls

    Hi myturn,

    How heavy is the flow?
How many days past ovulation did it start?
    Are you taking progesterone?
How long is your luteal phase normally??

it came on pretty heavy last night, with a few clots, and quite a lot of cramping compared to usual.
Embryo transfer was wednesday 2nd - that was CD 22 - so it started 10 days after that- normally my cycle ranges from 28 - 32 days. I'm using crinone, and yes still taking it till wednesday (just not confident it worked this time).
I have no idea how long my luteal phase normally is, as I don't ovulate every month (PCOS) and when I do, I can't tell - I don't really get EWCM - not that I've been able to tell anyway - and trust me I've been looking.
I'm pretty confident it's over - and i'm okay, I was just wondering if there was any hope at all!

I am guessing it was a two day transfer? Which means you got AF (assuming that's what it is) about 12 days post ovulation. That is a pretty short luteal phase for a progesterone cycle. Perhaps your progesterone is low???

I totally know what it's like to scour the Internet for stories of hope. I pretty much do it every cycle. You just have to look over some of my old posts to read my desperate pleas for evidence that I wasn't going to get a bfn

Nothing is quite as hopeful and desperate as us IVF-ers
