Birthday present ideas for 1 yo boy

As the title says I am after suggestions for a birthday present for a 1 yo boy. He has an older brother, so there are alot of toys he would have had passed down and clothes - so I am trying to avoid your run of the mill toys & clothes. Any ideas? I went to Chadstone today but forgot all about it and won't be going back there for a while.... I need it for Saturday too.... Note: I am going to Phillip Island on Thursday & Friday and I am around major shopping centres the rest of this week. Thanks

For my niece and nephews first birthdays I buy them a little pewter (sp?) money box and have their name, "happy 1st birthday" and date engraved on it. They get so many toys and I like to know that they are getting a keepsake that they'll have forever

I was going to suhhest a nice money box or a wooden toy.
There are some gorgeous car money boxes and things around these days.

I ordered a personalised book for my girls for Christmas but I think they would be perfect for a 1 year present too. Telling Tales personalised books.

I went with the pewter money box idea - a train. I will get something else too ... ^^ not sure if the above is SPAM????
