Anyone have a Stokke Xplory/Bugaboo Cameleon/Joolz Bloom?
We're going shopping for a new pram on Sunday, as with DD's brace she's well and truly outgrown her current pram. These are the three prams that appeal to us the most, mainly for their less-structured design on the sides so that DD's legs can hang out. So if you have one of these prams, can you tell me a bit about it? Pros, cons etc?

Love my cameleon! It's light. Easy to push and the turning circle is awesome. Easy to change the seating position will bub is in it. Can not rate it highly enough. I bought a limited edition black framed one from the US and it was cheaper, but I have noticed the normal ones here, have dropped in price (finally!). As it separates into 2 pieces I can fit it in my hatch. Although the putting up looked difficult at first, after a day or two of practising I could do it with my eyes closed.
Another bugaboo lover here! Like everyone else has said, I really can't fault the cameleon. They are pricey, but it's worth having a look on ebay. We just sold our cameleon second hand (another plus - they maintain their value really well), but I did notice a few new ones that had buy it now prices of around $900 - $1000 (just want to make sure they're authentic though).
yep also a bugaboo chameleon fan.... saw me through both boys and i couldnt fault it
reminds me - time for me to put that and the double moiuntain buggy on ebay
I have a Joolz and I love it, great to steer with great turning circle and I especially like the height of the seat when you are out and about bubs isn't looking at shopping bags & knees or when out for dinner or lunch you can push it right up to the table and bubs is sitting at table height and it's pretty funky looking and you don't see too many of them around.
Only con is it's abit bulky/heavy folded as one piece but you can separate the seat from the chassis bit so it's not too bad.....oh and the storage is small but you can get a XL shopping bag which solves that problem
I have a stokke and LOOOOOVE it!! It also gets lots of attention. It will depend on how much you are willing to spend on a pram too. Accessories are a bit exy, but if you are prepared to buy a stokke then moula is obviously not an issue. It's easy to fold, and fits in my boot perfectly - I also have a sub in my boot! It glides over grass (not like traditional prams it feels like your pushing with all your might) I can steer my stokke with 1 finger the normal seat can be used from birth to 5, you can tilt the seat with 1 lever
Don't have anything negative really - not that I've found ...
Yeah, money isn't an issue for the pram, we want something that will last all of our children (we're not planning on having more than one pram sized child at a time) and that DD can be comfy in now with her brace. I haven't really found any negatives about any of these prams.
Oh another thing I forgot to mention - the handle on the stokke is easy retractable - my husband likes it low, he's 5'3 and I like it higher (I'm 5'5) my daughter likes it at her level (she's 4' something lol) and when we are out I can tilt the pram right up (like a high chair) lower the handle right down and she's practically sitting at the table
Eta: we didn't get the bassinet because I think it's a waste of space
Hello! I just got an email from Toys R Us and the Bugaboo Camelion Bundle Silver and Black is $1199 (save $500). It's a 3 day only sale (and you can buy online).
Another vote or the cameleon! I love my bug, so easy to take apart, change the seat direction etc, incredibly easy to steer, even on rough terrain, fits through aisles that wider prams don't, really there's nothing I don't like about it!
Thank you all so much guys! Well, we've tested out all three and settled on...the Stokke Xplory I never thought I'd be one to fall in love with a pram but I totally am Can't wait to pick it up!
Lol, I have a different pram but I totally get the pram love!! Hubby checks out other people's babies to see if he thinks they're as cute as ds, I check out other people's prams to see if I think they're as good as mine :P lol
