Welcome Jane. I've found this IVF so much easier than I imagined it would be. FX for first time success.
Hi All,
I'm new to all of this, but I guess I'm looking for some friendly advice and support from other girls who know what this crazy journey is like.
I saw my FS for the first time a few months ago after a long time of TTC with no luckSince then I have been diagnosed with PCOS, one blocked fallpian tube and grade 4 endo (for which I have recently had surgery). My husband doesn't have the strongest swimmers either. So both female and male factors contributing to our difficulties. Natural conception almost impossible for us

So here I am at the start of this IVF journey. I am currently down regulating with Zoladex (for the endo) and will hopefully start my first round of IVF (specifically ICSI) in the new year. To be honest I am feeling a little overwhelmed by it all. Partly excited by the possibilities but nervous and at times feeling very alone.
Just wondering has anyone out there been on zoladex? How did you find it?
And has anyone had experiences of IVF following zoladex which they can share?
Any advice would be welcomed, as I just feel a little lost with it all. We have also decided not to tell anyone about undergoing IVF at this stage because I don't think I could handle all the questions. But at the same time I know I really need some support.
Hence I'm hoping you lovely girls might be able to assit.

Biggest hugs, Jane. Very new myself but lotsa support being sent. I must say I didn't want anyone to know because I didn't want any questions but realized that DH needed to talk so we have told key people along with a please don't ask we'll let you know. I am so glad we did because knowing they supported us was really valuable and they have absolutely respected our boundaries. Best of luck![]()
Good Luck Jane!
I am a newbie too - I started my first IVF cycle 10 days ago and have seriously found it easier than I expected too. If you have gone through surgery for endo then I am sure you will find it a walk in the parkI was really scared about the injections but they are nothing... I am an old pro now!
I also have only told one friend about our journey and dont feel bad about that - your real friends will be there when and if you need them in the future and should understand your reasons for keeping it to yourself. You dont want any extra pressure through the process.
Good luck with everything - you are not alone...
Jojo xx
Thanks for all the replies. Really appreciate all the support. It's comforting to know that others know what it's like to be going through this.
