    I love Christmas!

We will be picking a Christmas tree next week, I can't wait, I love the smell of Christmas pine. I love playing cheesy Christmas songs while decorating the tree until it is just perfect! I love cooking and baking Christmas treats. I even buy doggy Christmas socks to hang up for the dogs I love how everything is decorated and red, white and green and every store is playing Christmas hymns. It's just such a happy time of the year for me.

    I just wish it snowed!!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE christmas we have got all our lights up and not turned on yet :/ we made chrissy crafts over the weekend and next weekend we will put a tree, plan our menu and fully decorate the inside of the house. we have started watching chrissy movies and listening to chrissy songs. The only downside for me this year is that majority of my family will be getting together at my mums who is 4500ks away we would love to be there but can't as the foster kids need to see their biological parents over the christmas season.

im sooo excited for the 1st dec

I looove Christmas time!! It's my favourite time of year

I love the decorations, carols & everything about it. This weekend we have managed to decorate the house inside, turn on our external Christmas lights and put up the tree - it's looking all sooo good & I just LOVE the Christmas vibe! Every year we get personalised tree decorations with the occasion/ year and this year it's the first Christmas in our new home yay. It's such a happy time of year! Love cooking a good meal with DH and this year we have decided to start a Christmas movie watching tradition, so we went and bought a whole bundle of good old classics :P yay!

Last year was extra special as it was our baby boys first, now this year he is looking at everything in awe and just wants to get into it all (well, attack it lol). Lights look so magical to little ones :P looking forward to the times when he will be excited & understand it too. But we still do the whole Santa and stocking thing! I just LOVE it!! Woohooo

Mmmm maybe we should do a thread where you can post photos and show of your Christmas tree! Ooh something to think about as it gets closer

And PS I sooo wished it snowed here too! My ultimate dream is to experience a white Christmas. How magical.

I told DH a few days ago that, one day, we'll make it somewhere nice and cold and we'll celebrate a white Christmas. It would have to be somewhere regional though - no cities, no slushy snow outside - just a gorgeous white Christmas!!

We love Christmas here - the house is gorgeous - all done up -with so many decorations inside, and lights outside. we put up the tree yesterday, which is looking fantastic. We may even put the lights on tonight - except that it's been horrible blustery weather today and i think DH wants to check them all before we light up!

We have some lights on here in the lounge every night - DD picked two sets of life her first Christmas, so we put them out here where she can have the on. And we have all the soft/noisy decorations out here that she is allowed to touch - so she hasn't been tempted by anything else (yet!)

We have our own little Christmas wonderland - and we love it!

Liebling and I bought a tree today and decorations - our usual stuff is all packed and hidden ready to move and DH wasn't getting it out again. This way is a lot easier as it will be less hassle to pack, move and unpack. Liebs picked everything, so it is completely not my taste... but he loves it. And has insisted on facebooking the pictures.

We've also seen Muppets' Christmas Carol so far.

We love Christmas here too! We are Christians so we try to emphasize the nativity story and the fact that we are celebrating Jesus' birth. When I ask my 26 month old DS why do we have a Christmas tree - he says "Happy birthday Jesus" soooo cute!

I'm making 80 shortbread Christmas trees today for a homeless shelters' Christmas party - hot day to do it though.
