    Safe and sound crash replacement

We were involved in a pretty severe crash on Saturday night, thankfully we all walked away from it.

I've heard that safe and sound have a crash replacement for seats involved on severe accidents.

Has anyone done this before? What constitutes a "severe" accident?

We have already bought new seats but it would be great if we could get a reimbursement as we're not sure if the idiot who hit us has insurance to cover this.

    Any info would be appreciated.

I think it is if the air bags go off or if someone is hurt. We were in accident last year and it was only minor so couldn't get them through the program but my insurance replaced the capsule ds was in even though it wasn't my fault and they chased the money up from the other persons insurance.

Check out there website, I checked the info recently but I wasn't able to claim, it needs to be severe or written off.

The crash was pretty severe, the car is a write off although no air bags went off as we were hit towards the back of the car. The impact was big enough to snap the axel and drive shaft in half.

I'll chase it up on their website today. Thanks.

Oh my goodness, so glad to hear you are all alright.

I'd call them and discuss. I had a minor accident and my insurance company will cover a replacement seat up to $500 for any type of accident. So given yours was fairly substantial I'd think that safe n' sound would replace it.
