Bleeding 1 week b4 period due

Hey im new and have a question..
My period isnt due for just over a week and ive been bleeding on and off for past couple days.. I am also having very mild cramps - not anything like my normal period. What could this be? Should I see a doctor?

I'm having the same thing at the moment... Don't have any answers for it tho!!! I think I'll do a hpt in a week just incase it's implant bleed.

Yeh maybe I should just wait see if I get my period.. Just worrying cos reading up and some of the causes besides implantation could be pretty serious... Then again could be nothing. Lol. Wait n see I guess =)

I've had this before and unfortunately it always turns out to just be my period.

In fact had it happen just last month and I was really really expecting to be pregnant that time around. I was just about to take a test when I realized it was just too much to be spotting.

Ahh okay.. Im also on the pill, been since I was 12 and 22 now for acne purpouses.. Its just never happened before?

Have had it happen on the pill before as well. Was on it for really painful periods started on it when I was in year 10 (30 now), the acne help was nice too though!
When it happened on the pill I did think I was pregnant since it started and stopped over 2 weeks. Actually ended up taking a preg test which came out neg. Turns out your body can sometimes fight the pills for control of your period and you'll get some spotting sometimes.
