So my neck and back have been really out these last 2 weeks. Is it safe to get a neck and shoulder Chinese massage? I know for a full massage it's better to have pregnancy massager do it, but does it matter with neck and shoulders?
I think it's still safer to check with someone who specialises in PG massage, all those nerve attach to different parts of the body and you never know.
EVen if you just call a massage parlour that specialises in it and just ask if they would do just a neck and shoulder and how much and then if you feel comfortable go elsewhere.
Like ZF said, you should only see someone who specialises in pregnancy massage and treatments. You'd be best to see a physio IMO. I had a lot of treatment when I was pregnant with my DD but my physio are pre and post natal specialists.
I recently had a pamper session at a pregnancy day spa which was divine (I had a one hour full body massage followed by a facial) but they are fully set up for it and trained in the field. The beds are specifically designed for pregnant women as are the products.
