Cleaning products when pregnant - what is safest?

I've been keeled over with morning sickness for weeks now and so haven't done much around the house - I'm starting to itch about getting the place clean again. Especially the bathroom!!

I must admit, when it comes to cleaning the shower I've never been very 'green' - I buy the strongest chemicals and smother the thing to get it sparkling. But I'm thinking that might not be the safest thing anymore.

Any suggestions on what I should clean my bathroom with?

My shower is glass (and is a PITA to clean when I let it get like this) and there is also some mould on the grout in the shower

    Thanks in advance ladies!!

well that's option number 2 lol - he already cleaned out the fridge/freezer and scrubbed the oven for me yesterday - so I thought I might do the bathroom myself lol

If its not safe though - of course I won't risk it

I agree with HotI - Get your DF to do it. I didn't clean the bathroom once during my pregnancy or the kitty litter for that matter. DP did it for me. It might not get done as often as you would do it but it's not a good idea to be breathing in all those fumes if you can avoid it.

Otherwise can you use vinegar for the time being. Much less toxic. I've never used it myself but my SIL swears by it.

We're chemical free here. I am the most paranoid person ever when it comes to chemicals in things. I've tried throwing white vinegar and baking powder on the shower & cleaning that way. You can also make a paste from same and use that. I just buy chemical free cleaners from a health store & give them to the cleaner to use. It's usually orange oil which is pretty strong so dont know if I'd do it myself when pregnant.

    Can you get a cleaner?
