    Boxing Day Sales

Who is going? What sort of things are you seeking out? Any super awesome deals you're aware of?

My excitement is the search for new bras, been holding out all pregnancy for the sales >.>

I'm probably going to ikea ... I'm super annoyed - I went through and spent hours doing one of those "shopping list" things, after checking how much it cost to get delivery to my house, and after all that time and effort, it appears that you can't actually order online!! you still apparently have to go to the store, tootle around to do all the shopping, pay for it, and *then* organise delivery ...

    argh!!

No, not going today. Decided to stay far away from the shops even though I have vouchers to spend. I figure the sales will continue and I really don't 'need' anything.

I'm just popping down to Chemist Warehouse to pick up some skin care stuff (and I won't be held responsible if a bottle of discounted perfume just happens to fall into my shopping basket...) and maybe a quick trip to BNT to see if I can grab a new bra or two, I'm down to only two and they're getting a bit ratty from being worn every other day :/

I haven't been to Boxing Day Sales since I worked in retail and vowed only to attend them if I were being paid!
That said, one of my favourite local op shops is having an inaugural Boxing Day Sale...and I may have to get myself there without children for a wee while

I just bought $900 worth of TS clothes for fair less than half of that.
Pretty happy with that kind of buy.

I got all the kids up and ready early, headed out to the sales and the Whole of Westfield and other shops were all shut
    Gutted!
I'll have to get them all ready again in the morning now.

We've just returned. It was stressful - packed - busy. Couldn't find a car park - DH ended up dropping me and DD, we hit Pumpkin Patch then met him with DS in Myer for some sheets. We got a new Sheridan quilt set and two sets of sheets for us, for about $450. That's awesome.

That was the reason we went!!! Sheets!

Woo! Got the exact bras I wanted (I already own one but wanted more because they fit so perfect) for $21 each, down from $45 so I'm super stoked... grabbed the last 3 there in my size! It was crazy busy so I'm glad we managed to go minus the toddler.

Can't go until next year on Boxing Day. SA is slightly backwards here no shopping on Boxing Day except for a few shops in a few locations (Jetty Rd, Harbourtown and Rundle St) as the govt hasn't let retail stores open then However, they have changed that from next year and we get Boxing Day sales on Boxing Day instead of starting 24hrs later.

I withdraw my premature "Huzzah" ... you can't do phone orders anymore! Boo.

Oh well, a trip out to Richmond or Springvale might be needed tomorrow!
